REGISTRATION FOR THE FALL 2010 AYSO SOCCER SEASON
BEGINS ON MAY 1, 2010.
2010-2011 SEASON APPLICATIONS
Applications for Region 418's 2010-2011 (fall 2010 / spring 2011) Soccer Season will be accepted starting on May 1, 2010. Apply by using the AYSO electronic registration web site, www.eayso.org. A guide to applying online using eayso.org can be downloaded by clicking here.
PLEASE NOTE that your online application should be completed once it is begun. Continue through the application screens until you see the message in green that the application has been successfully submitted. Interrupting the application process may corrupt the application and the underlying player record in the system. After submission, you may return at a later time to update or correct the application if necessary.
After submitting your player's application, don't forget to submit the application fee using eayso.org, too. From the site's home page, click the "Online payments" link and follow the instructions. Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted. Applications will not be considered complete, and players will not be placed on teams until payments are received.
The application fee for the Region 418 2010-2011 Season is $175 (plus late fee of $25 starting in July). Region 418 makes a limited number of scholarships available. If you wish to inquire about or be considered for a full or partial scholarship, please contact registrar@ayso418.org. No child will be excluded because their family cannot afford the registration fee.
In addition to a completed application and submission of the application fee, proof of age is required to be submitted for players new to Region 418. A copy of a birth certificate, passport, state ID or other document showing the new player's name and birth date can be mailed to AYSO Region 418 Registrar, 4507 N. Ravenswood, Suite 101, Chicago, IL 60640 or emailed to registrar@ayso418.org.
VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS
As a reminder, all new and returning volunteers are required to submit volunteer applications. Volunteer applications are in addition to the volunteering interest information submitted with a player application. Volunteer applications can be submitted via www.eayso.org. Click on the "Apply as a new adult volunteer" or "Apply as a continuing adult volunteer" link as applicable.
REMEMBER, AYSO IS AN ALL VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION, AND VOLUNTEERS IN ALL CAPACITIES ARE NEEDED TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE CHICAGO CHILDREN THE HIGH QUALITY, POSITIVE SOCCER EXPERIENCE THAT AYSO REGION 418 OFFERS.
Only interest, not experience is needed. Region 418 will provide the training and mentorship you need to become a coach, referee, or other Region 418 volunteer.
